Creeve House has its own fully stocked trout lake where guests can avail of our services including tuition, fly tying, fly fishing, equipment & boat hire and reduced rates for guests.
Creeve House is also within a short drive of the Glens of Antrim, North Antrim Coast including the world famous Giant’s Causeway, ninety minutes from Donegal and the same from the Fermanagh Lakelands. We are also located beside Shane’s Castle, Ballyronan water sports centre, Antrim Forum and the provincial towns of Antrim, Magherafelt and Ballymena all of which offer excellent leisure and entertainment facilities along with first class shopping. We are perfectly located as the base for things to do in County Antrim.
There are a wide variety of sporting activities available nearby. Places of interest include three 18 hole golf courses at Allen Park, Moyola and Masserene. Randalstown Forest and Shane’s Castle are both ideal for walking or jogging. Pony trekking is also available and a range of tuition is on offer. Creeve House is an excellent location for cycling enthusiasts as the Loughshore Trail is on its doorstep. A level 113 mile circuit of Lough Neagh, the trail has quiet, vitually traffic-free minor roads and lanes with short stretches of traffic-free path. The route takes in Antrim, Portadown and Toome along the way.
Of historical interest are the ruins of an old monastic settlement, Cranfield with its Holy Well, graveyard and what remains of the church. The ideal location of Creeve House means its not just things to do in County Antrim that are on offer. You are also just a short drive (via the M2) to Belfat City Centre, where you can visit the Titanic Belfast building, Ulster Museum, Belfast Zoo, SSE Arena, browse the shops and take in the many eateries and pubs that the city has to offer.
